On Oct. 24, Xiamen Airlines inked a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with the country's leading aviation university - Civil Aviation University of China (also known as "CAUC"), sources told CARNOC.com.
It's understood by CARNOC.com that this marks the first such extensive partnership between Xiamen Airlines and a domestic aviation-focused education and training school. However, some specific collaboration between Xiamen Airlines and CAUC dates back to almost a decade ago.
According to information provided to CARNOC.com, the aforementioned agreement clearly outlines various joint cooperation covering aspects such as future strategic planning, professional training and technological innovation.
Airline staff informed CARNOC.com that the agreement signing ceremony was officiated by top executives of the two sides including Che Shanglun, General Manager of Xiamen Airlines; Hong Disheng, Party Secretary of Xiamen Airlines; Wu Tongshui, Principal of CAUC; and Dong Jiankang, Deputy Principal of CAUC.
