Based on local media reports and information gathered by CARNOC.com from various sources, the plane crash happened shortly after 8:10 a.m. at Shanghai Pudong International Airport has so far resulted in 3 deaths of the crashed freighter's crew members, while 4 other crew members were injured and are presently receiving professional medical care at Pudong New Area People's Hospital in the nearby town of Chuansha.
Separately, it's understood by CARNOC.com that the official investigation team dispatched by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has already arrived at the crash site and official investigation was started soon after their arrival. Despite the accident in the morning and temporary closure of some runways, only dozens of outbound flights were affected but flight operations at the airport are now back to normal.
