With the landing of Air China flight CA912 from Stockholm to Beijing at 9:50am on Nov. 30, the passenger throughput at Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA), the largest airport in China's capital, has exceeded 60 million this year.
Air China will work with the Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) to build the latter into an international air hub and make traveling more convenient for passengers, said Zhang Lan, vice president of Air China, on Nov. 30, marking a breakthrough in the airport's passenger transportations.
Air China is the largest air carrier based at the Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA). It accounts for over 70 percent of the throughput at the airport's newest third terminal.
The air carrier transferred to Terminal 3 in March of last year. Since then, it has improved its service procedures, developed network-based service platforms, and raised its transit efficiency.
Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) is located in northeastern Beijing, and is one of the business air hubs in China.
