Expo 2010 - China Aviation Pavilion: Structural Roof-Sealing Finished, Official Website Unveiled

On Nov. 26, Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and China Eastern Air Holding Company, the parent company of China Eastern Airlines, jointly announced in Beijing the successful conclusion of structural roof-sealing task for China Aviation Pavilion of the World Expo to be held in Shanghai next year. During the event, the pavilion's official website, which is now viewable at http://www.airexpo2010.com (presently available in Simplified Chinese only), was officially unveiled as well.
According to information provided to CARNOC.com, the Expo 2010 - China Aviation Pavilion officially broke ground on Apr. 20, 2009. Furthermore, the 4,000-square-meter pavilion is being built at an estimated total cost of 280 million yuan and is being jointly invested by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and China Eastern Air Holding Company. The pavilion is currently scheduled to be fully completed in March next year and to begin welcoming public visitors from May 1, 2010.
