Hawker Beechcraft Sells 12 Aircraft to Saudi Arabia

On Nov. 18, Hawker Beechcraft Corp. announced the sale and delivery of 12 aircraft to the Saudi Arabia Presidency of Meteorology and Environment.
The company says delivery of the aircraft has taken place throughout the year. The final two aircraft in the deal are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
The order includes one Hawker 900XP, two Hawker 400XPs, one King Air 350, two King Air B20OGTs and six King Air C90Gti aircraft.
"This order is an example of the strength and versatility of our broad aircraft lineup for this region," Bill Boisture, chairman and CEO of Hawker, said in a written statement.
The 12 aircraft will be fitted with special instruments by Weather Modification Inc. and will be used in weather forecasting and modeling and in environmental missions, such as for testing air quality.
