Who said all airline meals are tasteless? Such perception certainly won't stand when some lucky passengers get the opportunity to experience the newly upgraded premium inflight meal service that is being trialed aboard limited Air China's international flights.
From Feb. 1, Air China has started the 1-month trial of its new premium inflight catering service for First Class and Business Class passengers on a dozen international flights including CA907, CA931, CA933, CA935, CA937, CA939, CA961, CA965, CA967, CA981, CA983, CA985 and CA991 (flights are subject to change without notice).
It's understood by CARNOC.com that the new premium inflight meal service will comprise dishes using much fresher, tastier and healthier ingredients with a particular focus on more seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as the implementation of employing newly designed tableware for international premium classes.
Air China officials told CARNOC.com that the air carrier will carefully evaluate passenger satisfaction on the upgraded inflight meal service and thoroughly look through all valuable feedback gathered from inflight catering staff, cabin crew members and passengers during the trial period. Nevertheless, the airline is strongly committed to enhance the service and aims to expand it further to cover greater number of flights once it's "mature enough".
