Vector Aerospace Q4 Profit Rises

Canadian aviation repair company Vector Aerospace Corp's quarterly profit rose nearly 11 percent, helped partly by increased earnings at its airframe segment.
For the fourth quarter ended on Dec. 31, the company earned C$6.2 million (US$6.05 million), or 14 Canadian cents a share, compared with C$5.6 million, or 15 Canadian cents a share, a year ago.
Analysts on average were expecting the company to earn 15 Canadian cents per share, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
Revenue fell about 2.6 percent to C$137.7 million.
Vector, which has operating facilities in Canada, Britain and Africa, services both commercial and military markets.
Shares of the Toronto-based company were down 9 Canadian cents at C$6.21 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
