Bombardier Inc said it got orders worth about US$155 million for seven business jets from Munich-based airline Jet Air Flug.
The world's No. 3 civil aircraft maker after Airbus and Boeing said the orders are for five mid-size Learjet 85 and two large-cabin Challenger 605 jets.
The total value of the order is based on the 2010 list price for typically equipped aircraft, the company said in a statement.
On Dec. 2, Bombardier, which is facing an uncertain recovery in the aerospace market and growing competitive pressures, had reported quarterly earnings that slumped 15 percent on lower sales in both its plane- and train-making divisions.
Montreal-based Bombardier's shares have lost 2 percent since then. They closed at C$4.61 on Dec. 7 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
