Chicago Establishes Sister Airport Partnerships

Chicago has new connections to China and South Korea.
The Chicago Department of Aviation announced it has signed four new "sister airport" agreements with airports in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Inchon.
The agreements means the airports can work together and share best practices when it comes to issues like airport management, customer service, information technology and environmentally sustainable development.
Aviation Commissioner Rosemarie Andolino signed the agreements during a trip to China last month with retiring Mayor Richard Daley and a Chicago delegation.
Chicago has two airports: O'Hare and Midway international airports.
