China Eastern Airlines Has Training on Wine Tasting

China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited introduces a new special service to its first-class passengers-wine service in the air. In order to improve professional knowledge and skills of the staff about wine service, the airline company starts a series of training. On April 26, a group of the staff receives the training in Beijing. They learn about basic knowledge of wine, including origin and history of wine, distinguished features of different wines, benefits of drinking wine, how to distinguish from various wine labels, how to store wine, how to open a bottle and serve the customers, etc.. They also learn about the proper order of serving different types of wine and how to pare wines with foods.
The half day's training gives more understanding of wines to the trainees. The company will continually organize all kinds of trainings in the future.
