China Southern Airlines Sends Charter Flight Carrying Peacekeepers to Liberia

China Southern Airlines on Sunday sent a charter flight which carried 288 peacekeepers from Beijing to Liberia.
The CZ3001 flight took off at the Beijing Capital International Airport on Sunday night, and would arrive in Liberia via Paris, said a spokesman with the airlines.
Another 15 charter flights, undertaken by the aircraft types of Boeing 777 and Boeing 757, will also be arranged in half a month, sending totally 1,612 Chinese peacekeepers to Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, said the spokesman.
China started to send peacekeepers to the two countries from 2003, and the airlines has undertaken multiple flight tasks to carry UN peacekeepers, he added.
