Typhoon Muifa Cancels 75 Flights in Shanghai

Up to 75 flights have been cancelled Saturday at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport as the powerful Typhoon Muifa approaches China's east coast.
As of 11:00 a.m., Shanghai Hongqiao has cancelled up to 24 flights and Shanghai Pudong cancelled around 51 flights to Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao and Shenzhen.
China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and Juneyao Airlines have made emergency plan in response to the Typhoon Muifa and monitor closely the airport weather conditions.
Passengers are being advised to check with their airline to confirm their flight status before heading to airport.
