With the threat of Irene behind, airlines will resume operations Monday.
New York's three major airports -- Kennedy, Newark and LaGuardia -- and others along the U.S. East Coast will also reopen Monday, two days after they were shut down.
Here is an airline-by-airline breakdown of operations that were made available early Monday morning:
Jet Blue
Jet Blue will start flying again from New York metropolitan airports and Boston at 3 p.m. ET Monday, said spokesman Mateo Leras. Some additional flights have been scheduled to handle the backlog of passengers.
US Airways
US Airways will resume flight operations Monday morning in the Northeast and will be back to a full schedule by afternoon, said spokesman Todd Lehmacher. No additional flights have been added.
Southwest Airlines
Southwest will operate a normal schedule Monday at LaGuardia Airport in New York and McArthur Airport on Long Island, spokeswoman Katie McDonald said. Southwest flights from Newark Airport will resume around 11 a.m. ET. The airline canceled more than 750 flights at the three airports on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
American Airlines
American will resume service Monday at airports in the Northeast, according to spokeswoman Andrea Huguely. A few morning flights won't fly, but the afternoon schedule will be full. Extra flights may be added if demand is high enough.
