China Southern Airlines, the nation's largest carrier by fleet size, will receive its first Airbus A380 on October 15, 2011 Beijing time.

China Southern' first A380 receives its colors in this stylized video clip, which includes time-lapse footage of the milestone jetliner's painting process. As with other aircraft in China Southern's fleet, the new A380 carries the company's distinctive logo of the red kapok flower on its sky blue vertical tail fin.
