Beijing Capital Airport Handles 7 Million Passengers in October, Up 3.8%

Beijing Capital International Airport announced its flight movements and passenger throughput in October post respective year-on-year growth of 3.68% and 3.82%, to around 46,380 and 7 million.
In October, the airport's domestic flight movements increased 2.86% year-on-year, compared with a 6.81% growth of the Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and international flights, among which, foreign carriers' flights from and to the airport increased 7.67% over last year.
Domestic passengers handled by the airport increased 2.57% compared with the same month in 2010. Passengers travelling on the Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and international flights increased 7.88%, including an 8.28% increase of passengers carried by foreign airlines.
As of the end of October this year, the airport's flight movements and passenger throughput totaled around 445,480 and 66.19 million, climbing about 3.31% and 6.62% respectively compared with the same period last year.
