China's Shenzhen Airlines announced it will increase its free baggage allowance for economy class passengers on flights between Japan and China starting Dec. 26, in order to meet holiday season demand.
According to the airline's new baggage rules, ordinary economy class passengers travelling with the airline's Japanese flights will be allowed to carry baggage weighing up to 30 kilograms, up from the current 20 kilograms, while the free baggage allowance for passengers like overseas students, labours and seamen on the same class will be lifted to 40 kilograms from 30, effective from Dec. 26.
Currently, Shenzhen Airlines has launched several scheduled Japanese flights, such as the Shenzhen-Fuzhou-Osaka service, Fuzhou-Tokyo service, Wuxi-Tokyo service and Wuxi-Osaka service. The Shenzhen-based airline reminds their customers, especially the overseas students, labours and seamen, to carry with their relevant certificates when booking tickets.
