Air Pacific says it will add more flights between Sydney and Nadi from January 15.
The additional services lift the number of services per week between Nadi and Sydney to 13, which the Fiji national flag carrier says will offer same day connections to the country's outer islands and resorts.
Currently, Air Pacific flies daily between Austalia's largest international gateway and Nadi using a Boeing 747-400.
Under the new schedule, 10 services will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft, with three using the 747.
Australia's Qantas Airways holds a 46.3 per cent stake in Air Pacific. The Fijian government owns 51 per cent of the airline.
