Ameco Beijing Pushes Business Jet Completion Services

Ameco Beijing is pushing forward its business jet completion and modification services on the direction of full capabilities and full product range. The capabilities will cover all processes from design, engineering, certification to installation while the products would be entire gamut of modifications.
Currently, the Beijing-based MRO specialist mainly offers modification services to Air China, government and special mission aircraft. With capability improvement, the customer clusters can expand to individuals and enterprises.
Ameco's modification services can date back to 1990s and it is a well-experienced MRO provider to VIP and business jet modification services. A various modifications to systems, structures and cabins of Boeing 737/747 and Airbus A330 were provided to customers.
Furthermore, Ameco has also offered modifications on commercial aircraft to meet the high-quality requirement of carriers, including cabin upgrade on an international customer's Boeing 777s, first and business-class upgrade to Air China's Boeing 747s and Airbus A330s. This summer, the similar work will be carried out on Air China's Boeing 777s.
In 2008, Ameco was approved by CAAC as a Designated Modification Design Organization Representative (DMDOR) to conduct some airworthiness approvals, which is helpful to shorten the approval time and promote the engineering capability.

Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Corporation, Beijing (Ameco Beijing) is a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa German Airlines. It was established on August 1st, 1989, with Air China holding 60% and Lufthansa 40% of the registered capital of US$187.53 million.
Ameco Beijing provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for airframes, engines and components of commercial aircraft.
