On Feb. 29, AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd. (ACAE) - responsible for developing and manufacturing the aero-engine for China's large aircraft project, declared to launch a new talent recruitment programme to enroll more than 300 people globally.
Founded in January 2009 in Shanghai, ACAE, with registered capital of 6 billion yuan, is a subsidiary directly under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
Zhang Yujin, Vice President of ACAE, pointed out that the company's current talent team is far from enough to support the large aircraft engine's developing and manufacturing, although there have been more than 500 R&D staff.
There will be "explosively" increasing demand for professional talents to develop and manufacture the home-made large aircraft engine after the foundation of the China Aviation Research Institute Shanghai Center and ACAE Assembly & Testing Center, along with other centers like the customer service center, overhaul center, Hong Kong center, America center and Europe center.
ACAE said it provides 220 positions involving in majors including machine engineering, overall performance, strength of structure, etc. and covering the aero-engine's product design, technology research, processing, and assembling.
Zhang indicated that the global recruitment will be held simultaneously both at home and abroad regardless of applicants' nationalities and races. The company will give preference to the overseas high-level talents with 10 to 15-year related working experience and expects overseas personnel to account for 40 percent of its over 300 new recruits.
