Wang Changshun, general manager of China National Aviation Holdings Co., Air China's parent company, met with visiting Todd Kallman, president of Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines and Global Services Wednesday afternoon in Beijing. The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges of views on the issues of common concerns.
During their talks, Wang gave a brief introduction of Air China's performance in 2011 and said that Air China has worked in close partnership with Pratt & Whitney. He also expected Pratt & Whitney to enhance their after-sales maintenance service and deliver services to customers through many different channels, which he believes will benefit the further cooperation between both parties.
Kallman agreed with Wang's advice and said Pratt & Whitney will try their best to provide solutions and investigation results towards the existing issue as soon as possible.
Both parties also discussed about the details of their cooperation.
Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines, space propulsion systems and industrial gas turbines.
