China Hasn't Stopped Airlines From Buying Airbus Planes: CAAC

The Chinese government hasn't issued any mandate forbidding the nation's airlines from buying Airbus SAS planes and won't dictate the carriers' purchases, said Li Jiaxiang, head of the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
The government encourages airlines to buy planes based on costs savings and increasing reliability and safety, Li said in an interview.
