The CAAC Party discipline inspection team leader Liang Ningsheng paid an inspection visit to Okay Airways Company Limited on March 6, accompanied by Okay Airways' president Liu Weining and other leaders from the company.
During the inspection, Liang gave credit to the regional airline in operating the home-made Modern Ark 60 (MA60), exploring feeder line market, boosting regional economy, and facilitating air travel for the public.
Private airlines constitute an indispensable part in our civil aviation industry and CAAC attaches great importance to the development of private airlines, said Liang.
As the first domestic airline to introduce the regional aircraft MA60, Okay Airways was the pioneer that initiated the home-made aircraft's "ice-breaking journey" to be operated domestically and has set a good example of commercial operation and promotion of the aircraft.
Okay Airways is encouraged to seize the historic opportunities -- China's steadily growing economy, Western China's development, as well as favorable policies for regional aviation -- to buy home-made MA60 and guarantee the safe operation of aircraft, make great efforts to develop regional service, and make new contributions to the improvement of domestic air routes network and the development of China's aviation industry.
