CAAC East China Bureau, Shanghai Airport Group in Talks on Air Routes Network

Shanghai Airport Group and East China Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) discussed the development of Shanghai's air service network recently, aiming at further optimizing the structure of flights and air routes at Shanghai's two airports - Pudong International Airport (PVG) and Hongqiao International Airport (SHA), as well as improving the implementation rate of the flight schedule.
Shanghai Airport Group delivered a report about the development project of passenger and cargo flights, the airports' support capacity, the demand and the utilization rate of flight schedule.
The Office of Air Traffic Management and Department of Air Transport, East China Bureau exchanged views on the management of flight schedule and aviation market, as well as the check-up of flight schedule.
East China Bureau said that it will continue to support the development of aviation market in Shanghai, improve the utilization rate and implementation rate of the flight schedule and advance the construction of aviation hub in Shanghai together with the airports.
The two sides also reached an agreement on building the mechanism of regular communication.
