Taiwan's EVA Air announced to introduce a new Hello Kitty jet in May on its Shanghai service - one of the most popular routes, to attract more mainland passengers, reported by Hong Kong China News Agency.
The carrier launched three Hello Kitty-themed airplanes last year, which are popular among the market. As the load factors of these three jets have been always high since they were put into operation on the routes from Taiwan to Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong last year, the carrier plans to add two more Kitty planes in May and June.
The two new Kitty jets are expected to put in to use on the Taipei-Shanghai route from May 23 and the Taipei-Tokyo route from June 22, according to EVA Air.
