On April 1st, the 5th Inter Airport Show Shanghai kicked off at Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center. During the 3-day show, lots of new equipments, technologies, services and other products related to airport were displayed. VeryZhun app drew lots of attention among all the airport service products.
With the rapid development of China's civil aviation, transportation scale continued expanding. In the year 2011, China's civil passenger throughput reached 620 million, an increase of 10% over the previous year; there were nearly 6 million flight movements. The huge passenger throughput and frequency of flight movements bring a lot of service pressure to airports, especially for the major hubs.
According to research, when providing ground services, airport staff are often accustomed to wait for inquiries passively. Besides, the information they provide is usually very limited. It's even more obvious when encountered unusual weather, flight delays, as well as large numbers of passengers stuck in the airport, which will increase more pressure for ground staff.
In these cases, resulting from lacking of communication between airlines and airports, limited information is given to the passengers, which easily bring negative feelings to the passengers and cause unnecessary conflict. It is very important to change the way of airport services from passive to active. Instead of limited notification, airport should provide more comprehensive flight information services.
VeryZhun app can be used as a smart information distribution system in airport services. It is able to store, query, display and distribute real-time flight information to passengers. It will also guide the passengers to wait and board airplane. With its SMS based passenger pick-up services, it gets even better, and becomes a very useful tool in airport service transformation.
