Fire crews were dispatched Wednesday afternoon after a cargo jet and an American Eagle commuter plane clipped each other at Chicago O'Hare International Airport in Illinois.

CBS station WBBM in Chicago reported a 747 cargo plane and American Eagle plane were on the ground at the time.

The FAA reported the incident happened around 1:00 p.m. EVA Flight 661, a Boeing 747 cargo plane, was taxiing on Taxiway A when its wing clipped the rudder of American Eagle Flight 4265, an Embraer 135, that was pulling into Gate G18.

The American Eagle flight had just arrived from Springfield, Missouri.

American Airlines spokeswoman, Mary Frances Fagan, released a statement saying "while moving into the gate, the tail of the Eagle airplane, an Embraer 140, was struck ... 18 passengers were aboard the Eagle airplane, which had a crew of 3.

American said there were no injuries and all passengers have deplaned. The aircraft damage is still being assessed.
