Airbus, a leading aircraft manufacturer, has received 257 firm orders in total for its A380 super jumbo as of June 21, 2012. To date, the plane maker has delivered 77 A380s to 8 customers: Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qantas Airways, Air France, Lufthansa, Korean Air, China Southern Airlines and Malaysia Airlines. Moreover, the first A380 for Thai Airways International was rolled out of the Airbus paint shop in Hamburg over the weekend and the airline will become the ninth operator of the super jumbo.
