Virgin Atlantic said Monday that it will allow mobile-phone use on its Airbus A300 flights between London and New York.
Travelers will be able to make calls, get text messages and access email, the company said. The calls are expected to cost 1 pound per minute, with texts costing 20 pence. Also, due to bandwidth limitations, the service will be available to only 10 people at a time.
