A cultural and tourism week to promote the rich heritage and abundant attractions of ancient China's Shaanxi Province is to be held onboard the planes of China Eastern Airlines.
Jointly sponsored by the airline, Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Administration and the Xi'an Municipal Tourism Administration, the event, which runs between March 17-23, will include video presentations of Shaanxi's various cultural relics and folk performances.
Also, the organizing committee will give away 800,000 discounted and free entry tickets to attractions and museums in Shaanxi, 30,000 mascots made from ancient coins and 100,000 papercuts made by local artists to China Eastern Airlines passengers.
