Wreckage of Crashed Kenya Airway Plane Found

The wreckage of Kenya Airway's Boeing 737-800 which crashed on May 5 in Cameroon has been found near a village named Mbangabongo, near Douala, Cameroonian government announced on May 6.
According to a statement issued by Cameroonian Ministry of Territorial Administration, the plane was found "in an area of mangrove swamp near a village named Mbangabongo, near Douala, largest city of Cameroon and the capital of Cameroon's Littoral Province."
"The rescue measures have already been put into action for the appropriate control of the disaster," the statement says.
Take-off at 00:05 Douala and due to arrive in Nairobi at 06:15 on May 5, the plane carrying 114 people lost contact with Douala airport a few minutes after its departure.
According to reliable sources, the plane crashed just after its departure from Douala where the storm was quite rampant.
