Unique Zurich Airport, operator of Switzerland's busiest airport, will increase passenger departure charges for the second time in six months.
Unique Zurich Airport will raise fees for departing passengers starting July 1 by 9.5% to CHF40.5, the company said. A January 1 increase was 2.8% to CHF37. Transfer passengers will pay CHF2 more, or CHF21.
The new charges will cover the cost of additional security imposed in November 2006 that limits the amount of liquid that passengers carry onto planes.
