Grob Aerospace AG | May 21, 2007
Grob Aerospace has selected Geven, based in Naples, Italy, as the manufacturer of their seats for the Executive layout of its spn light jet. These new seats were designed by Porsche Design Studio for Grob Aerospace as part of their mandate for entire spn interior.
The seats upholstered in premium leather with metal inlays displayed in the full size cabin mock-up of the spn showing at Stand No 1277, in hall 6 at EBACE 2007 in Geneva between May 22-24.
The new seats, certified to FAR 23 and the maximum load of 21g, will be fully articulated offering full recline, swivel, forward and side tracking, with moveable armrest and headrest. The ergonomic excellence enhances the comfort experience while travelling in the spn. There is even the possibility to make two full berth beds with the forward club seats if so desired. The light structure of the seats ensures a minimized interior weight.
"The Geven seats are the centrepiece of our new 'Executive' six-seat cabin, exclusively designed for the spn by Porsche Design Studio. We are very pleased to welcome Geven, with its excellent reputation for as an outstanding quality as a supplier to our family of partners," said Grob Aerospace CEO Niall Olver.
"We are very proud to have been selected by Grob Aerospace to provide the seats for the spn, a very exciting and unique addition to the business aviation fraternity," said Rodolfo Baldascino, Geven's Marketing and Sales Manager.
