China Authorizes China Southern Airlines to Lease Four Boeing Planes

On May 24, China's economic planner said it has authorized China Southern Airlines Co., one of the country's three key state-run air carriers, to lease four Boeing Co. airplanes.
The approval was given this month, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a one-line statement on its Web site. It didn't give further details.
China's other two major state-run airlines are China Eastern Airlines Corp. and Air China Ltd.
