HAINBUCH, a world-class provider in clamping solutions, has been constantly developing and revolving over the last 60 years by focusing on the essentials: customer wants and needs. However, back in the year of 1951 when Frida and Wilhelm Hainbuch laid the foundation for HAINBUCH as they started with a lathe and hacksaw in a small garage workshop, probably nobody could have imagined on its enormous success today.
Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. Jens Johannsen, team leader - technical sales of HAINBUCH GmbH, on the sideline of 3rd Annual China Aircraft Development Summit held in the Chinese city of Tianjin. Mr. Johannsen kindly shared some insights on the company's business development and plans for the Chinese market, especially in the fast-growing aircraft manufacturing sector here in China.
WCARN.com: Mr. Johannsen, can you please tell us why you are here at the 3rd Annual China Aircraft Development Summit?
Mr. Jens Johannsen: There are actually a few reasons why we are attending this event. I guess the most important one is really obvious that we are here trying to explore new opportunities as well as to meet up with existing and prospective customers in China.
WCARN.com: Can you please briefly tell us a bit more about the product or service HAINBUCH provides to the aviation and aerospace industry?
Mr. Jens Johannsen: Our company HAINBUCH provides some of the best workholding systems you could find anywhere globally. These systems are extremely important for everyday use in the field of aircraft/aerospace manufacturing. Notably, not only our products are top-notch in terms of quality, but we can also provide great customer support services ranging from system set-up to customization and so on.
WCARN.com: Considering the fact that HAINBUCH already has operations and business dealings in China, so do you think there is any challenge for your company to operate in the Chinese market?
Mr. Jens Johannsen: I guess there is always some sort of challenge no matter where you do business, whether in China or any other country. For us, probably one of the biggest challenges in the Chinese market is the vast cultural difference.
WCARN.com: Sure. So how do you view the future outlook of Chinese market?
Mr. Jens Johannsen: As a matter of fact, the Chinese market is already very significant to our company and there is no doubt that it will be one of the largest and most important markets in the future. We see abundant growth potential here and HAINBUCH is looking forward to that challenge.
WCARN.com: Terrific! That concludes our interview today, many thanks for your valuable time, Mr. Johannsen.
