Air China Limited will upgrade all of its aircraft on Beijing-Frankfurt route with Boeing 777-300ER, starting from Nov. 22, the national flag carrier said on Nov. 9.
Frankfurt is one of the important city in Western Europe, as well as an important aviation hub linking European continent with Africa, Middle East, and South America. Air China has always attached much importance to make capacity deployment on Frankfurt route. The carrier's flight frequency on Frankfurt route has increased to two return flights per day. In July 2011, Air China's first Boeing 777-300ER aircraft was put into operation on CA 931/2 flights of Beijing-Frankfurt service.
Currently, Air China has introduced 10 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to its fleet. To improve the airline's operation quality on Frankfurt route and promote passengers' flying experience, the return flight CA965/6 from Beijing to Frankfurt is also going to be operated using Boeing 777-300ER from Nov. 22, 2012.
The Boeing 777-300ER, a long-range wide-body twin-engine jet airliner, is one of the most popular travel choice among business travellers. With a configuration of 8 first class seats, 42 business class seats and 261 economy class seats, Air China's Boeing 777-ER aircraft will provide passengers more enjoyable flying experience. The internal design of the aircraft's cabin fully accommodates the demands of long-distance flights and the many enhanced amenities on board will guarantee passengers' flight comfort.
Air China has the most flights to Germany among Chinese domestic carriers, currently operating 56 flights per week from China to Germany on four routes: Beijing-Frankfurt, Shanghai-Frankfurt, Beijing-Munich and Beijing-Dusseldorf. Air China's European headquarters is located in Frankfurt, as the city is an important shipping center and the largest freight collection and distribution center in Europe. Centered in Frankfurt, the carrier hopes to radiate its route network across the whole Germany, even across the whole Europe.
