The Sunshine Service Department of Ningbo Lishe International Airport (NGB) has launched a "microblogging robot" to improve its services during the Spring Festival travel rush (Jan. 26-Mar. 6), by replying customers' inquires intelligently via microblogging. The "microblogging robot" could do 10 staff's work, which results in more efficient services during Spring Festival.
It is learnt that the "microblogging robot" is an automated response network system. After login their microblogging accounts both on phones or computers, passengers input the flights information or number they want to inquire, and tweet to Sunshine Service of Chinese Airport. Then the "microblogging robot" will reply them within 1 minute based on the real-time data.
Based on dynamic flight datum and associated with NGB's offical microblogging, the microblogging robot serves for passengers by capturing the flight number to offer its up-to-the-minute information. In addition to information on departure time, arrival time, destination, and weather, the microblogging robot could also respond inquires about other hot information including flight status, on-time rate, aircraft model and age, etc.
What's more, the microblogging robot could offer the information on the flights not only in NGB but also all across the country, according to Shan Jianping, the principal of Sunshine Service Department of NGB.
