The moment a drunk and irate passenger allegedly attacked a pilot in front of shocked onlookers has been caught on camera.
Donald Gee, 53, was arrested over the incident at Washington Dulles International Airport last week.
A video posted on Liveleak.com shows the irate passenger yelling obscenities at the United Airlines pilot over his delayed flight to Philadelphia.
When the pilot informs him the flight is grounded and he "won't be getting on a plane", Gee allegedly continues to curse at him and threatens to attack.
He walks away and sits down but remarks: "I'll step outside any time you want to".
The pilot replies: "you don't need to step outside, I'm right here", to which the man says "you wanna go right now?" and walks over to the pilot, hitting him in the face several times.
Gee is then tackled to the ground by airline employees.
Gee was charged in Loudoun County District Court with simple assault and public intoxication.
A United Airlines spokesman told ABC 7: "Violence against our employees is unacceptable and we will review this closely. We are fully cooperating with authorities and do not have further comment at this time."
