China Southern Airlines (CZ) Sunday officially operated its Boeing 787 Dreamliner on Guangzhou-Chengdu flight, marking the first time a Dreamliner has arrived in Chengdu.
Flight CZ3403 touched down at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) at 9:13 a.m., and then Flight CZ3404 continued on to Guangzhou at 11:11 a.m. with 219 passengers on board.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the most advanced passenger aircraft in use today, makes greater use of composite materials in its airframe and primary structure than any previous Boeing commercial airplane. The Dreamliner provides lower cabin noise, better air quality and more comfortable cabin environment for passengers.
It is learnt that Hainan Airlines (HU), British Airways (BA) and United Airlines (UA) will launch their 787 services in the near future successively.
