BA Experiences Double-Digit Growth on Shanghai-London Service
May 31, 2007
British Airways has experienced year-on-year double-digit growth on its London-Shanghai flight since the flight was launched two years ago.
BA's China manager, Sara Thorley, told reporters that this was due to BA's attractiveness on all aspects of the flight, including frequency, ticket class variety and price.
The company operates five flights a week from Shanghai to London and offers four different ticket classes, as opposed to the three typically available on long-haul flights.
The airline now flies 33 times a week from three Chinese cities - Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong - to London.
