ANA (All Nippon Airways) and Tokyo-based OCS (Overseas Courier Service) will jointly develop a new international express delivery service aimed primarily at the growing Asian market.

BEAM, as the new service will be known, is planned to launch at the end of August this year. It will utilise ANA's growing freighter network for air transportation and OCS's collection, delivery and customs-clearance services on the ground to provide high-speed, high-quality and reliable international deliveries.

Services will first be offered to Shanghai - using ANA's late night cargo flights from Tokyo Haneda via Osaka Kansai - and rolled out to other points in China as demand for the service develops.
