Small Plane Crashes in Florida, Five Killed

On July 10, five people have been confirmed dead after a small plane crashed in the southeastern U.S. state of Florida, U.S. media reported.
The plane, a Cessna 310 twin-engine aircraft, was on a short local flight when its pilot reported smoke in the cockpit and was trying to make an emergency landing at Orlando's international airport.
The plane however crashed into two houses not far from the airport, killing the two people aboard.
The two houses were engulfed by fire after the crash, injuring several people on the ground. Three of those injured were later proclaimed dead.
The cause of the accident was not known immediately.
