On August 1, AerCap Holdings N.V. announced that companies controlled by funds and accounts affiliated with Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. ("Cerberus"), its selling shareholders, had priced an offering of 20,000,000 ordinary shares at US$25.90 per share. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,000,000 ordinary shares from Cerberus to cover overallotments, if any. Cerberus will continue to hold approximately a 46% interest in AerCap (or a 42% interest if the overallotment option is exercised in full). AerCap will not receive any of the proceeds from the offering.
