Aug. 03, 2007
Star Flyer Inc said on August 2 that it will charge only 8,000 yen for a one-way flight between Tokyo's Haneda Airport and Osaka's Kansai International Airport in September and October to celebrate the inauguration of the new service route on Sept 14.
The discount will apply to all four flights operated each day until Sept 30 and to a limited number of seats in October, said the airline based in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Sales of the discount tickets will begin from around Aug 24 after the flight schedule and regular prices have been approved by the authority, the company added.
Founded in December 2002, the company has so far only been flying between Kitakyushu and Tokyo.
