West Air Launches Ultra Cheap 7-Day Advance Standby Tickets

On August 2, Chongqing-based West Air launched a new product offering ultra-cheap 7-day advance standby tickets at 188 yuan one-way* to selected network destinations such as Nanjing and Sanya etc.
Passengers holding the 7-day advance standby tickets can only travel at least 7 days after the date of ticket issuance and must contact the airline at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time to confirm seat availability on the respective flight that passengers want to take.
However, such ticket holders must take their respective flight on a later date if no seat is available on their selected date. According to the airline, the 7-day advance standby tickets are particularly suitable for passengers with very flexible travel dates such as retirees, students, backpackers and certain leisure passengers.
