Singapore Airlines Voted "Best International Airline" by Leading Travel Magazine

Singapore Airlines has again secured the "Best International Airline Award" in the World's Best Awards 2007 survey conducted by the US-based travel magazine, Travel & Leisure. The Airline has won this top award for the past 12 years.
Readers, who participated in the annual survey conducted by the magazine, also voted the Airline as the winner in the following categories: In-flight Service, Food, Cabin Comfort, Customer Service and Value.
The magazine has a readership of almost one million.
The award follows the recently-announced rating of Singapore Airlines as Airline of the Year in the annual Skytrax survey (award announced in late July).
Other recent accolades received by the Airline include the "Best Airline to the Far East and the Pacific (Overall)" by readers of the magazine Business Traveller Germany, while Capital Magazin, also from Germany, ranked Singapore Airlines as the "International Airline of the Year 2007".
Airline Business magazine judged Singapore Airlines as winner in the Marketing Category of the Airline Strategy Awards.
Other notable wins include the Travel Star Gold Award presented by Swiss-based Travel Inside Magazine for which Singapore Airlines has topped the Network/Scheduled Airline category for the 13th consecutive year. In addition, Taiwan's leading publication, CommonWealth magazine, presented Singapore Airlines with "The Most Admired Company Award 2006" in the Airline Category for the ninth year running.
The awards that Singapore Airlines has been winning continuously over the years encompass categories such as inflight service and entertainment, food and beverage, ground services, safety and company management.
The Airline was ranked in the top 20 of Fortune's Most Admired Companies 2007 for the second year running, and was named "World's Best International Airline" for the 18th consecutive year in the 2006 Readers' Choice Awards by Conde Nast Traveler (US), a leading travel publication with an estimated annual readership of over three million.
Singapore Airlines is grateful to its customers who have supported the Airline through the years by consistently according it good ratings in the various surveys, and attributes the Airline's good performance to the staff. These awards are an encouragement to staff to continue their good work and to set even higher standards of customer service.
