At 10:00 a.m. March 7, Yunnan Ruili Airlines (DR) took delivery of its third Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with a new aircraft from Berlin landing smoothly at Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG).
The aircraft, with registration number B-1960, was welcomed by a water-cannon salute at the airport. The airline and Kunming Airport held a brief but warm ceremony for the arrival of the third aircraft.
Ruili Airlines welcomed its first batch of aircraft at Kunming Airport on Feb. 20, with two newly-painted Boeing 737-700s, registration number B-5811 and B-5812. The private-sponsored airline is now in full swing for the final spurt and expected to take off after receiving CCAR Part 145 approval from the aviation watchdog.
