On April 4, a brand new Airbus A319 aircraft equipped with fuel-saving sharklets landed smoothly at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU) and officially joined the fleet of Sichuan Airlines (3U). The new A319, registration number B-6453, is the 2nd new plane to be introduced by the airline this year, bringing its all Airbus fleet size up to 84 aircraft.
