Cathay Pacific Airways welcomed a group of special passengers onboard the "Spirit of Hong Kong" aircraft when more than a thousand paper mache pandas filled up the cabin.
The paper mache pandas arrived at Hong Kong International Airport on June 9 and kicked off their Hong Kong tour, as part of a month-long "1,600 Pandas World Tour" campaign.
The 1,600 pandas were created by French artist Paulo Grangeon using recycled materials to promote conservation and reinforce the importance of sustainable development.
The pandas will visit more than 10 landmarks in Hong Kong from June 9 to 25 and gather at PMQ for the finale.
