China Eastern ERJ-145 Overruns Runway at Changzhi Airport

A China Eastern Airlines (MU) ERJ-145 slid off the runway on landing at Changzhi Wangcun Airport (CIH) on Thursday morning. No one was injured.
China Eastern Flight MU2487, arriving at Changzhi airport from Wuhan, overran the end of the runway at 9:53 a.m. after landing in the rain. The airport was closed.
The aircraft came to a stop on the grass patch off the runway. All passengers have been evaluated from the aircraft. No injuries were reported in the incident.
On June 7, 2013, another China Eastern ERJ-145, performing flight MU2947 from Huai'an to Shanghai, veered off the runway while landing at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport's runway 18L.
