Thai Airways' final A300-600 flight landed safely at Bangkok Airport from Khon Kaen on Thursday afternoon, marking an end to the aircraft's 29 years service with the carrier.
The national flag carrier held a farewell ceremony for the retirement of the A300-600, which is dubbed "the Legend of the Sky".
Thai Airways took delivery of its first A300-600 in 1985 as one of the earliest operators of the aircraft type. For almost three decades, the airline's A300-600 has provided passengers with impressive services.
Its A300-600 fleet has accomplished more than 550,000 landings and more than 1,100,000 flight hours, said the airline.
